Business Verification Policy

1. Business information requirements

• The real, registered or trading name of the business.
• At least one primary category and the city you serve.
• A working phone number (mobile or landline with STD code) and, if used, a WhatsApp number.
• An accurate description of your services, and honest prices where shown.
• An address or service area customers can rely on.

2. Verification process

• Complete your business profile in the Business Dashboard.
• Click Request verification.
• Our team reviews your details and may call or message you on your listed number, or ask for documents by email.
• We approve, or tell you what needs fixing so you can resubmit.

Verification is free. We never ask for payment, OTPs or passwords to verify a business.

3. Documents we may ask for

Where it helps confirm the business, we may ask for one or more of:

• GST registration certificate or Udyam (MSME) registration.
• Shop & Establishment licence, trade licence or professional registration.
• A recent utility bill, rent agreement or other proof of the business address.
• A business bank cancelled cheque or the business PAN.
• Photos of your shop, office, vehicle or recent work.

Documents are used only for verification, visible only to our verification team, and you can ask us to delete them afterwards.

4. Verification status

• Not verified — the business has not been checked yet. Listings added by our team start here.
• In review — the business has requested verification.
• Verified — our team checked the details provided at that time. Verified businesses can receive Get Free Quotes requests.
• Needs attention — verification was not approved; the reason is shown in the dashboard.

5. Reasons verification may fail

• Details can't be confirmed, or the phone number doesn't work.
• Documents don't match the business name or address.
• The listing duplicates another business or impersonates one.
• Misleading claims, fake reviews or credible complaints.
• Services that are illegal or not allowed on the platform.

6. What the badge means

The badge confirms the business's details at the time of verification. It is not a guarantee of quality, pricing or future work, and not an endorsement. Always agree terms in writing.

7. Suspension and removal

Getlead may remove the badge, hide, suspend or remove any business that provides misleading information, receives credible fraud or safety complaints, or breaks our Terms or Community Guidelines. We may re-verify businesses at any time.

8. Claiming a listing

If your business already appears on Getlead and you did not create the listing, contact us at info@freshvolttech.com to claim, correct or remove it.
